Passerina

The Passerina grape variety is originally from the Abruzzo/Marche regions, and derives its name from the small size of the grapes, particularly loved by sparrows for their juicy flesh. This grape is becoming increasingly popular in Abruzzo thanks to its good acidity level, also when very ripe, a characteristic that is not to be underestimated in light of climate change. This grape variety has a light lemon yellow color, with green reflections, a floral aroma with fruity hints of pear, nectarine and orange peel. The flavor is crisp, with a decisive finish and pleasant mineral character.
