This ancient grape variety is native to Abruzzo, and is now undergoing a period of rediscovery after not being widely cultivated. It has several characteristics commune to more widely known Trebbiano, which it was combined with in the past to make wine. Today it is used alone for wine making, better expressing its unique character. It has a light lemon yellow color, with green reflections and a very unique floral fragrance with fruity hints of peach and orange peel. With medium body flavor and good consistency, it has an excellent balance, with refreshing acidic and mineral notes.
